We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our cable swabbing unit service to you.  We presently have units available to provide swabbing service  for oil and gas wells.  These units can also handle casing swabbing when servicing gas wells.  We are equipped and properly insured to operate anywhere in Alberta and British Columbia. 

All units operate on a stand alone basis.  The need for, and cost of, the assistance of a picker truck is eliminated.  The units are equipped with 3000 PSI rated working pressure equipment.  These units have a cable capacity that varies from 10,000 to 14,000 feet of ½ inch steel braided cable.  The resulting pulling strength varies form 16,000 to 30,000 foot pounds.  This gives Carnwood the capability to handle most of your swabbing requirements including slant wells. 

We also have Portable Rig Tanks available.  These tanks can hold 14 or 16 cubic meters and have a built in degasser and solids trough.  They are equipped with a 2” adjustable choke using 2” 3000lb pipe and unions.  More importantly they are dual axle units that do not require a picker for set up, we just tow it to your location and set it up.   

Every unit is operated by a fully qualified two man crew.  They have been fully trained in H2S gas procedures, CPR, WHMIS, TDG and First Aid.  If needed we are available for 24 hour service.  The units are equipped with lighting systems, so night operations are not a problem.
